SEE BELGRAVIA SPARKLE THIS CHRISTMAS

Belgravia Christmas Sunday
7 December 2008
11 am – 4 pm

Elizabeth Street, Motcomb Street and Pimlico Road promise to make this year’s annual Christmas shop a sparkling affair.  Belgravia’s specialist shops are always the perfect place to discover something beautifully different for Christmas. This year the streets have extra sparkle thanks to CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements.  Crystal decorations and chandeliers decorate the streets and shoppers can take the sparkle home with them in specially designed gift wrap.

At Belgravia’s Christmas Sunday (7 December 2008, 11am - 4 pm) shoppers can enjoy the best luxury shopping in London, browse the festive stalls, sample the festive tastings and enjoy the talented street performers.

A visit to the one day only CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements gift wrap shop in Elizabeth Street will ensure that all the gifts are wrapped in enviable style and for free – a gift in itself! CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements have chosen to decorate one of London's favourite streets, Elizabeth Street, to celebrate Christmas 2008. A beautifully unique crystal snowflake, designed by Ingo Maurer, will decorate the windows of the exclusive designer fashion and jewellery shops that line Elizabeth Street - including Ben de Lisi, Erickson Beamon and Kyri.  A limited number of the snowflakes will also be available for customers to purchase to hang in their homes.

Father Christmas will visit each of the streets over the day.  Entertainers and festivities alongside a host of Christmas food stalls include:

The St Paul’s Church Choir and a Salvation Army Band, a chestnut seller, jugglers, an Ice Queen, a Christmas angel in Motcomb Street.

The Pimlico Green farmers’ market, a juggler, stilt walkers, Jack Frost, face painters, a brass quintet and a pipe band in Pimlico Road.

St Peter’s Eaton Square Choir, St Michael’s Quartet, the Fulham Brass Band, St Peter’s School Choir,  Revelation Gospel Choir, face painters , a unicycle juggler, and a balloon modeller in Elizabeth Street.

Christmas shopping can be thirsty work and shoppers can recharge their batteries at the likes of The Thomas Cubitt, The Pantechnicon Rooms, Oliveto, Tomtom Café, Baker & Spice, Daylesfords, Motcombs and de Wolfe.  Kids love the delicious hot chocolate at The Chocolate Society and Rococo.

All three streets will be closed to traffic and the popular free rickshaw shuttle between them will make the day light on the feet.
