Grosvenor is a major supporter of London’s first ever city-wide celebration of jewellery design, 11-15 June 2008. The inaugural event has been established by the jewellery industry to showcase the city’s status as the home of world-class jewellery, to UK and international consumers.
Coutts London Jewellery Week is organised by the City Fringe Partnership, with funding from the London Development Agency, and sponsored by Coutts. It will include both emerging talent and behind the scenes glimpses of some of the world’s finest jewellery designers as well as catwalk shows, exhibitions, seminars and open houses.
Sarah-Jane Curtis, Retail Investment Director at Grosvenor said: “The event is a perfect complement to the luxury nature of our London retail offering and will be of interest to many of those who live, work and visit Mayfair and Belgravia. Our involvement underlines Grosvenor’s support for the best of contemporary fashion and design as reflected in our approach to achieving an exclusive retail mix on our streets.
“A number of prestigious jewellers are located across our key retail areas including Carolina Bucci, Leo de Vroomen, Erickson Beamon and Kim Poor and we look forward to supporting them, and the industry as a whole, through our involvement with this exciting event.”
During the week long celebration Grosvenor will be holding a number of events across key locations including Elizabeth and Mount Streets. The Elizabeth Street Party, 11 June, will be getting into the spirit of Jewellery Week with fabulous themed window displays, designer gift bags and 'jewel' cocktails on offer! It will be an opportunity to enjoy a luxury shopping experience with the exclusive retailers, bars and restaurants on this stylish Belgravia street.
